And finally, the much awaited trailer of Chirutha is out. Now TV channels have begun airing it from today (Thursday, September 20, 2007). The first impression is “good to awesome.” The trailer doesn’t show much of Ram Charan Teja’s face but we can have glimpse of his body language.
Especially the fans are happy. They say it is rocking. So Ram Charan Teja has passed out in the first test.
The concept behind the trailer (cut by Naveen) is enticing. Now, the promos are out and posters are pasted everywhere, the craze around the film is increasing further.

Directed by Krishnavamsi and produced by C Kalyan on the banner of Teja Cinema, with Sivabalaji, Navadeep, Kaajal Agarwal and Sindhu Menon in the lead, the beautiful family subject ‘Chandamama’ was released recently and is running successfully.
Any good film would be a welcome for general public. But this film has something special. Padma Bhushan, Mega Star, Dr Chiranjeevi watched the film along with all his family members.
The Mega Star, complimented director Krishnavamsi personally after watching this film.
Is this a hint that Krishnavamsi is going to wield the megaphone for Chiranjeevi’s 149th film? Hope so.

Mega Star’s birthday is over yesterday. But still, the hangover is not down for his fans.
In some way or other, Chiranjeevi has also earned the admiration of today’s young breed of actors like Prabas, Ravi Teja, Raja, Tarun, Navadeep, Srikanth and Jr.NTR. These new generation actors shared their views in a chit chat by wishing Mega Star on his birth day.
According to Prabhas, “What I admire most about Chiru sir is his sincerity to his profession. He is such a super star only because of his dedication to his work. We need to learn a lot from him”.
Actor Ravi Teja admires Chiru’s modesty. “We constantly see people putting up their prices even if they get a few rupees. In spite of all the fame and wealth that he has, our megastar is a simple man. That’s what I like most about him.”
“Sir was born to win. All he has to do is appearing on screen and the whole theater goes crazy,” says Raja in wonder.
“I was a Mega Star fan even as a toddler in my childhood, I used to imitate Mega Star’s style and get claps!” says Tarun.
For Srikanth, “Even today to have a photo taken with my big brother is a great matter of joy for me.”
“I became a hero in college circle after I danced for Gang leader song”, informs Navadeep.
“What I like most about Chiru is the recognition and respect he gives to other actors. After seeing every one of my films, he telephones me and praises my acting,” praises Jr.NTR.
Mega Star is indeed a star among stars.

shankardada zindabad Shankar (Chiranjeevi), a local goon falls in love with the voice of Jahnavi (Karishma Kotak) who works as radio jocky in an FM station. He introduces himself as a history professor in order to impress Jahnavi. Meanwhile, he gets hallucination of seeing Gandhiji and talking to him. Shankar as a part of his wrong deeds also helps a land grabber called Lingam (Sayaji Shinde). Lingam tricks Shankar to grab the old-age home run by Jahnavi. Instead of attacking Lingam in his routine rough style, he applies the technique of Gandhigiri. The rest of the story is all about how he reforms Lingam and wins the heart of Jahnavi.
First half of the film offers entertainment. Second half has heavy moments with emotional appeal. The plus points of the film are Chiranjeevi and Srikanth. On the flip side, second half should have been handled in a more compact manner and there should have been more Chiranjeevi kind of entertainment. Chiranjeevi is one hero who has all-round appeal and has terrific following in family circles. The second half of the film is aimed toward to the family crowds. The success of the film depends on how the family crowds embrace the second half.

“Shankar Dada Zindabad” might not have done as expected, but Airtel, one of the sponsors, is determined to make the most of its stake in the movie. The telecom giant on Monday announced a distinct “Reverse Bid” for the yellow Royal Enfield bike used by megastar Chiranjeevi in the movie. By “Reverse Bid”, the company means the lowest unique price quoted. The bottom line is that to win the bike, the quote has to be unique and the lowest among the unique. There is no restriction on decimals.
The bid is open to all the Airtel pre and post-paid users who need to send an SMS costing Rs.3 to 60066 typing “bid” and the price. There, of course, will not be any restriction on the number of messages from a single phone. Noted film star Srikanth who is also the co-actor in the movie launched the display of the bike and made the first bid of Re. 1.
Airtel is also set to ensure that customers in all the major towns across the State are aware of the Reverse Bid. They are sending the bike on a tour to 23 cities and towns. The “Reverse Bid” offer will be open till September 13, announced Elango. T, Chief Executive Officer of Bharti Airtel Ltd., in Andhra Pradesh, in a press meet.

Chiranjeevi’s birthday is coming up on 22 August. The fans of Chiranjeevi are organizing Chiranjeevi varostavalu (social service) from 15 August to 22 August. Chiranjeevi Rashtra Yuvatha will organize blood donation camps in all important towns in AP on 15 August. On 16th, fans will take up massive plantation activity to protect environment. On 17thth, fans will organize free medical camp for the poor, which include free medicine, free spectacles and free surgeries. On 19th, there will be diabetic and free yoga camp. On 20th, there will be cricket match for physically challenged people. The fans will also distribute free cloths to the orphanages. On 21st, fans will distribute artificial limbs to physically challenged. There will a big musical night, dances by popular choreographer, felicitation of a popular cricketer, presentation of gold medals to top rankers. On 22nd Augsut, there will be another round of huge blood donation camp.

Chiranjeevi has a surprise in store for his wife Surekha. And his wife Surekha has a surprise in store for him. Chiranjeevi has so far starred in 148 films. SDZ was his 148 th film. His 149th film will be with an outside director.
But it is his 150th film that will be a landmark. So there is intense speculation as to whom Chiranjeevi will oblige for his 150th film.
The suspense seems to be finally over. According to informed sources, Chiranjeevi has decided to give the opportunity to produce his 150th film to his wife Surekha. And she in turn plans to give him a chance to turn director in the film to be produced by her!
So that’s going to be a home production on a whole.

The highly anticipated audio of Megapowerstar Ramcharan’s Chirutha would finally hit the stalls on the 22nd of this month. Mani Sharma scores the music for this film which is released into the market by Aditya Music. Puri Jagannadh directs this mega film which is going to release on the 22nd of September. Ashwini Dutt produces this film, which has heroine Neha Sharma debuting along side Charan. The audio function of the film, and Megastar Chiranjeevi’s birthday celebrations would be held on the eve of Aug 22nd – on the 21st of August at Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad. A month ago, WE informed that Chiranjeevi is gearing up for directing a film on his own. The latest we hear is that this special film (which is Chiranjeevi’s 150th MOVIE)
Is likely to be produced by his wife Surekha.
Chiranjeevi is planning this special milestone in his career with much care and wants this to be his magnum opus. The film will be starting next year before that he works for his 149th film. Shankardada Zindabad was is 148th film.
Gunashekar – Chiru combo?
We came to know that Gunashekar is going to narrate a script for Chiranjeevi. The duo had earlier worked in Choodalani Undi. Let’s wait and see whether this combination happens again or not.
