Anushka refuses roles upon Nag’s directive September 14, 2007

Anushka, the yoga instructor-turned-actress seems to be taking career pointers from Nagarjuna nowadays.
According to the grapevine, the two actors bonded on the sets of the film Don, where they were co-stars. Anushka, who had made an impressive debut in Tamil with Rendu, opposite Madhavan, was flooded with offers from leading actors in Kollywood.
According to sources, a well-known actor went to the extent of calling her up personally for dates. But apparently, the actress, upon Nagarjuna’s directive, has rejected all offers that have come her way.
Nagarjuna’s ‘Don’ Look Not Liked! September 8, 2007

Nagarjuna’s look in the film ‘Don’ is not liked by some as per the grapevine. The gelled hair doesn’t suit Nag now and some say that he looks like in Geetanjali. He attempts to show change only with hair style than anything else.
He looked smart with right hair cut in Mass. But he came out with long hair in Super and a very long hair in ‘Sree Ramadasu’. All of a sudden he came out with different hair style in Boss’ and now for Don he is totally different. Comments are in different tones for this get up and the fans too have mixed feelings on the same. But it is quite routine in Telugu films while giving Don Look for heroes. Even Nag looks in similar way in ‘Neti Siddartha’ when he becomes Don.
Lawrence, the director of the film says that the film is coming up very well and Nag’s look stands as highlight of all. Let us see what magic Nag creates with this look.
Nagarjuna Inspired By Balaji and Raadan September 4, 2007

Nagarajuna seems to have impressed by Balaji Tele Films of Ekta Kapoor and Raadaan of Radhika. He is now starting Annapurna Tele Creations to air different programs and serials on his MAA TV.
It is known that Nagarajuna has bigger stake in MAA channel. Very shortly Nag is also coming up with a Reality show on the lines of Big Brother and Big Boss in MAA TV. Ramya Krishna is already doing ‘Jara Masti Jara Dhoom’ inspiring from Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee With Karan’.
So now Nag will be doing the reality show. Almost all sorts of shows from Hindi channels and English channels are being imitated in Telugu.
Let us see how Nag excels as a TV Man.
Jagapathi Becomes Lucky Mascot For Nag Too September 1, 2007

Jagapathi Babu has become a lucky mascot for many films and almost all the films with his presence were hits in recent times. After the success of Samanyudu, Pellaina Koththalo and Lakshyam, now he appears in Don as villain opposite Nagarjuna. That would certainly be a good thing to underline and his lucky mascot image is going to be tested again.
Nagarjuna suffered from flop with ‘Boss’ and now he is pinning hopes on Don. To meet the sentimental points, the film Don is being planned to hit the screen on the day of release of ‘Mass’. Indeed ‘Don’ is second film in the combination of Nag and Lawrence.
Let us see how these sentimental dates and lucky mascot images work well for the film.

Jagapathi Babu’s special role in Nagarjuna’s Don August 29, 2007

Jagapathi Babu’s second innings is more of multi-starrers. His role in Anukokunda Oka Roju was much appreciated, while he got a thumbsup from the viewers as Gopichand’s elder brother in the superhit – Lakshyam. Now, he is playing another role – in Nagarjuna’s forthcoming Don. The role has a negative shade, something which is relatively new for Babu who plays the ‘good man’ most times. Director Lawrence himself plays an important role in this film which has Kajal Agarwal and Anushka Shetty cast opposite Nagarjuna. The movie is being produced by ML Kumar Chowdary on Sri Keerthi Creations. The audio scored by Lawrence would release on the 18th of November in Vizag, while the movie itself would release on the 20th of December.

It is irony of fate to say that, now days our Tollywood is depended on importing many of the artistes from Bollywood. In the past almost all artistes were belong to Telugu and from South. Moreover all the artistes attracted entire people by their excellent performance for years together. Even now they remained in the hearts of the people through their different characteristics & roles which they performed.
In such way they ruled the Tollywood. There was no necessary for producers and directors to import from Bollywood or from else. However, it is unfortunate to say that though there are excellent artistes in Telugu land why our cine personnel are searching and importing from other areas is meaningless. Up to now they used to select heroines only, but now villains also imported from Bollywood. To quote an example Shiyaji Shinde, Sushanth Singh and many other Bollywood artistes playing the roles of Villain in Telugu Movies apart from many imported heroines.
In the film Nagarjuna’s Don Chetan Hansraj is playing as villain who is well known TV personality. Earning huge money through their films from Telugu people, ignoring Telugu artistes is very shameful on the part of Tollywood personnel. If this trend continues in same way then, Telugu people may not be able to see Telugu artistes on the silver screen in future films except the faces of leading heroes. Lawrence busy with action schedule of "Don" August 16, 2007

Under the banner of Sri Kirti Creations M.L.Kumar Chowdhury is making “Don” with Nagarjuna in the direction of Lawrence. Nag and Lawrence duo proved their strength with Mass and the present film Don is going through its fights schedule. An Aluminium Factory at Gachubowli Stadium has been chosen to shoot the scenes. Arrangements are being made to release the film in October.

Producer M L Kumara Choudary is making the film Don with Nag and Anushka in the lead roles. Lawrence is directing and composing the music for the film. The audio of the film is planned to release in Vizag on 18th November and film is planned for 25th December.

Nagarjuna is currently working for Don film that is being directed by Lawrence. Ileana is playing female lead. Audio of this film is going to be launched at a function arranged on 18 November in Vizag city. ML Kumar Chowdary is producing this film on Sree Keerti Creations banner.
