After the incident of Paruchuru the same incident took place in Ongole as well. The face of Balakrishna was taken away from the cut out of ‘Okka Magadu’ at these places. Why these attacks are only on Balakrishna?
There is ample fan-base for Balakrishna and it is obvious that it is the act of his antagonists who can be the fans of other hero. But such acts are hurting the sentiments of Balayya fans. No only the street-side guys but also a few learned people have made attacks on Balakrishna during the release of ‘Veerabhadra’ and ‘Maharadhi’. Many of jokes and cartoons were circulated among the internet users those days. Now such attacks were minimized to large extent and that is a healthy change.
Balakrishna started getting this antagonism ever since the ’shooting’ episode at his house. But he has been striving a lot to get back his image and to be in good books of everyone. His well-behaved manner at 75-years Platinum Jubilee function of Tollywood impressed everyone. But still there is black sheep among film buffs who are spitting venom on a few stars for no concrete reason. Let us hope that this scenario changes and all the film buffs walk from darkness to light- ‘Tamasoma Jyothirgamaya’.

‘Okka Magaadu’ cans fights at Golconda fort October 9, 2007

Some action scenes are being choreographed for ‘Okka Magaadu’ directed and produced by YVS Choudary on the banner of ‘Bommarillu Vari’ with Yuva Ratna Nandamuri Balakrishna as hero.
Producer cum director YVS Choudary says, ‘The shooting is now in progress at Golconda Fort and the fights are being shot under the direction of fight master Kanal Kannan. The role of Balakrishna would suit his image and all the songs and fights were being choreographed in an extraordinary manner. The film is coming up in a way to attract all classes of audiences. Though the shooting is in progress on the one hand, the post-production activities are also going on at the labs simultaneously.’
Executive prover Kommineni Venkateswara Rao says, ‘Manisharma gave melodious tunes to all the songs and the film is coming out on the expected lines.’
Simran, Anushka and Nisha Kothari are playing the female leads.
Camera is by Aravind, story, screenplay, director and producer is YVS Choudary, while Yalamanchili Gita is the presenter of the movie.

Balakrishna’s son Mokshagna is making debut. According to sources, the young Nandamuri kid will appear in YVS’s Okkamagadu for a brief time. Though it is not a ‘role’ or ‘character’, Mokshagna will be seen before the credits roll on, sources informed.
YVS who is die-hard fan of Late NTR is making the film to be a treat for Nandamuri fans. In every YVS’s film, a sloka along with Late NTR’s photo appears. Soon after this Mokshagna will be seen, sources informed us.
The film is set in a faction backdrop and has NBK playing dual roles. Simran, Anushka and Nisha Kothari are the heroines.
Music is by Manisharma and the film is slated for January 11, 2008 releas

YVS Choudary is known for his commitment to achieve what he wanted to and he would do anything and go to any extent for the purpose. He always strives to achieve what he wanted and tries as many times in this regard.
The word ‘compromise’ is not there in his dictionary. This committed director is producing ‘Okka Magaadu’ on his own banner ‘Bommarillu’ with Yuva Ratna Nandamuri Balakrishna, Simran, Anushka in the lead.
The shooting of the film is in progress for a long time. A part of the film was shot in a huge set erected near Rajahmundry.
The unit later shifted to Hyderabad and is presently shooting in another huge set erected at Bhoot Bungalow on Road No. 10 of Hyderabad.
Some songs were choreographed in Australia. The director cum producer is making efforts to release the film on January 11, the day Balakrishna’s blockbuster ‘Narasimha Naidu’ was released a few years ago.
Choudary was of the strong opinion that the film would be a biggest hit in Balakrishna’s career after its release as Sankranthi gift

Mohan Babu is very keen to bring daughter in law from Nandamuri family. He tried a lot to get Brahmani for Vishnu. He also kept that idea before Balakrishna as well. But Balakrishna’s friends discouraged him in that aspect as per the information from reliable sources.
Balakrishna also preferred Lokesh to Vishnu as his first son in law. Now Mohan Babu is not a dejected one. He is trying to get Balakrishna’s second daughter as his daughter in law. His trials are serious. We have to see what happens.

Thousands of fans thronged Nimmakuru August 29, 2007

On Wednesday (August 29, 2007), thousands of Nandamuri fans and Telugu Desam party supports had turned up at Nimmakuru for the wedding reception of Lokesh and Brahmini.
Nandamuri Balakrishna had thrown this reception for his fans who could not attend his daughter’s wedding on 26th at Hyderabad. NBK personally introduced the newly married couple to some of the fans and he freely interacted with them. NBK with his wife and Nara Chandra Babu Naidu and his wife Bhuvaneshwari were present at the stage decorated richly with flowers.
Local MLA and producer Kodali Naani had made the arrangements for the reception. More than 50 thousands of fans had turned up
