The shooting of the climax of Mahesh Babu starrer, ‘Athidhi’ is, at present, going on in Chennai. With this being wrapped up in a couple of weeks, the film will be ready by September. According to inside sources, Mahesh Babu will sport six different hairstyles in the film.
Amrita Rao,the pretty Hindi actress, is making her Telugu debut in it opposite Mahesh. Ramesh Babu, Mahesh’s brother, is the producer of the film while Surender Reddy of ‘Athanokkade’ fame, is the director. Rumour mills say that UTV, one of the largest production companies in India, has bagged the distribution rights for this film for a whopping price.
This company has already produced many hit Hindi films and now has its eye on Telugu film industry. Also, their three-film deal with Mahesh Babu is also being discussed. If this happens, Mahesh will be the first star from the South to sign up such a deal for UTV.
